A strap worn around your wrist is attached to the disable pin so if an attacker takes the baton away from you the disable pin is pulled out and he can not use the stun gun on you.

To prevent accidental discharge three levels of safety have been built-in. The disable pin must be inserted, the safety switch must be in the on position, and the trigger must be pressed down before the stun gun will operate.
